Destinations
Having to cover a miscellany of destinations for numerous lifestyle magazines Linda Jackson travels worldwide and knows a number of countries well. One of the areas she particularly specialises in is the Caribbean, the West Indies - a region she frequently visits and lived in for some years. Others are Cornwall and Devon in England, where she was born and brought up. Scotland is also fast becoming a 'specialist' destination for Linda where she regularly spends time.
She has travelled extensively in the UK, Western Europe and the Caribbean, has a passion for tropical islands and a fascination with volcanic isles; is an ardent fan of Arizona, has been captivated by Oman, and is intrigued by Dubai's past, present and future - an emirate in which Linda worked.
An enthusiastic traveller since her teens and having lived in several countries, Linda Jackson has become a bit of a “foodie” and has often been invited to investigate the gourmet delights of diverse cuisines, from multi-course tasting menus in Asturias, Northern Spain, and casual fish-fry nights in the Caribbean, to hydroponics farm-fresh produce in Anguilla and culinary tours of bakeries, markets and beer houses in Austria. |
